Mr Walden’s Manukau City-based Jasco Automotive is known for its outstanding and affordable service.
“We are a highly reliable team when it comes to servicing your car,” he says. “And with people keeping their cars for a longer time – a sensible thing to do in a recession – our goal is to keep those vehicles in top operating condition.”
Indeed, winter is the time when your car must be in top gear for trouble-free driving. Jasco’s Silver Service ensures your vehicle won’t let you down when it matters most.
For just $175 plus GST, your car gets a most comprehensive 20-point check, including engine oil change and new oil filter. No detail is too small – the mechanics will rotate tyres for best advantage; test cooling systems; check fluid levels; inspect C/V boots, exhaust system, underbody; lubricate door slides and window channels; and a whole lot more.
The Silver Service applies to most popular makes and models with up to 4 litres of engine oil and $15 filter. Some vehicles, including diesel ones, will require additional costs.
Customers choosing the Silver Service option know their vehicle is not only visually checked but also thoroughly inspected. For example, just pressing the brake pedal, to test if the vehicle stops, is not enough. Closer inspection might reveal there is little more than a week left before the disc pads need replacing or a weeping wheel cylinder is found.
“If it happens that we notice items needing attention, we always advise the customer of their choices,” says Mr Walden.
